On behalf of the GWEP-CC and AGS, congratulations to the GWEP partner sites who have been recognized from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) as Age-Friendly Health Systems Participants (Level 1) and Age-Friendly Health Systems – Committed to Care Excellence (Level 2)!
As of February 2026, the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) has awarded Level 1 recognition to 117 partners sites and Level 2 recognition to 41 partner sites. The sites who received Level 1 recognition are partnered with 23 of the Cohort 3 GWEPs and the Level 2 sites represent 15 Cohort 3 GWEPs.
