The House and Senate have both introduced legislative proposals for programs addressing the shortage of geriatrics healthcare professionals, as well as supports for older adults, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary teams responsible for delivering high-quality care. We encourage you to join EWA, AGS, and NAGE's advocacy efforts to ensure lawmakers in both chambers of Congress recognize the importance of these companion proposals, which now must be reconciled and voted upon before they become law.
