Description:

Please note: Due to the cancellation of #AGS20, this program will be conducted virtually.

The AGS Annual Meeting Mentor Program matches students, residents, and junior faculty with geriatrics professionals from across the country. Mentees will have the opportunity to discuss their career paths or any questions they may have about geriatrics.
Popular discussion topics are:
  • starting an academic career
  • locating research funding or collaborations
  • learning about geriatric clinical practice or administration
  • balancing career demands with a successful family/personal life
and so much more!

The AGS Annual Meeting Mentor Program is highly recommended for individuals at all stages in their education and careers. Make the most of your time at the AGS Annual Meeting by making a lasting connection with your mentor!

Mentor matches are performed by the AGS Junior Faculty Special Interest Group. All applications are read through thoroughly and given serious time and consideration for who would be a good match. The more information you provide on your application, the more successful your match is likely to be!
