This is the 15th Global Conference on Ageing “Rights Matter” and will be convened both, virtually and in- person in Niagara Falls, Canada from 9-12 November 2021, with pre-conference summits and master classes to be held on 9 November 2021.

The in-person and virtual event represents a critical point of connection for all those fighting for the rights of older people and focuses on the four action areas of The Decade of Healthy Ageing 2021-2030 that aim to:

- Change how we think, feel and act towards age and ageing (Ageism)

- Develop communities in ways that foster the abilities of older people (Age-friendly Cities and Communities)

- Deliver person-centred, integrated care and primary health services responsive to older people (Primary Healthcare)

- Providing older people who need it with access to long-term care (Long-term Health) alongside older people and pandemics.

The IFA Global Conference looks forward to connecting with delegates around the world across governments, NGOs, industry, academia and older people to discuss and learn about policies and practices that create an environment that will enable older people to do what they have reason to value.
