This activity is planned and hosted by the Minnesota Associated of Geriatrics Inspired Clinicians (MAGIC).
The Minnesota Association of Geriatrics Inspired Clinicians (MAGIC) 2021 Annual Conference will address major clinical, policy and leadership issues related to care of older adults and those in long-term care settings in Minnesota. Ashton Applewhite, internationally recognized author of This Chair Rocks: A Manifesto Against Ageism will present the keynote address. Other topics will include challenging practical issues such as sleep disturbances, diabetes, and more, what we have learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, recent changes in long-term care regulations, and self-care for professionals. In a one and a half day workshop format, we will address equity and diversity in long-term care. MAGIC invites clinicians and students from all specialties, professions and the general public to attend.
