Please join us for breakfast and networking with representatives of the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) and your surgical specialist colleagues on Wednesday, September 25 from 6:45 - 7:45 am, in conjunction with ABMS Conference 2019 in Chicago. The meeting will be held at the JW Marriott Chicago in the Van Buren room.
You will have the opportunity to hear from Drs. Thomas Robinson, Professor of Surgery at the University of Colorado, and Michael Malone, Medical Director of Aurora Senior Services/Aurora at Home and Geriatric Medicine Fellowship Program Director at Aurora Sinai Medical Center, on the important educational work AGS is doing with surgical specialists through its Geriatrics-for-Specialists Initiative. In addition, you will be able to view videos from the AGS/ABMS Geriatrics Virtual Patient Cases (VPC) Modules for Surgical and Related Medical Sub-Specialties. Drs. Robinson and Malone will walk you through several of the 10 available cases and demonstrate their educational value to the surgical community.
