Stand up at least every hour

It is not commendable to sit for 8 hours non-stop. By sitting for too long, you accelerate the rate of pressure build-up on your lower back. To help prolong the time taken to build up pressure, stand up every hour.

There are special cushions made to support your back and when used for long, you may realize the pain has disappeared completely. Remember to maintain an upright posture when seated, even if you have a cushion. 

If you use a gaming chair when working, you might not need to add another cushion because gaming chairs are designed to support your back well. 

Eat anti-inflammatory food

There are natural foods known to have anti-inflammatory effects on the body. Eat meat that is lean in protein like fish, chicken, and rabbit. Add to the lean protein herbs like cumin, turmeric, green tea, pepper, and rosemary.

Include in your diet leafy veggies like spinach, nightshade, and amaranth. Your assortment of fruits can be berries, cherries, and ripe bananas. Anti-inflammatory food helps manage your lower back pain by helping your nervous system relax and re-energize to fight inflammation.
